Our story
We are a husband and wife team. We do life together at home and at work. We are passionate about supporting others in building healthy relationships and discovering their purpose in God. We lead the marriage ministry in our local church and have encouraged, taught, counseled, and coached countless couples in building healthy marriages and home.
We have been involved in the Marriage Course and we are also one of the couples featured in Marriage By Design; a pre- marriage DVD series developed by Care for the Family. We are both members of the steering committee for Engage, a national network of Christian organisations with a focus on different areas of relationship. We on relationships at conferences and seminars, sharing godly insights and practical nuggets on building healthy relationships. We are both trained marriage counsellors and behavioural consultants.
I am a lifelong learner and adventurer and believe that there is so much more to each of us than is visibly obvious; living inside each of us is strength yet to be discovered, desires yet to be pursued, and dreams yet to be realised. We are made for more. I am passionate about enjoying life, relationships and using my gifts to make a difference in my world and beyond.
I juggle various balls at different times and drop some along the way as I attempt to fill the different roles designed for me by God. Being God’s daughter, wife and mum are my most treasured roles. I am realising that life is transient; having suffered several losses and disappointments. I know now that seizing each moment is a necessity.
I have come to learn that not sweating the small stuff is essential as it won’t matter tomorrow, and I remind myself daily that every day brings a new opportunity to start all over again. This knowledge is so refreshing and empowering! I am determined that “my special” will be felt in my world and eternity where it really does matter.

I am a warm, passionate and easy-going lover of God.
My purpose is to be a catalyst for positive change in the people, communities and societies that God grants me the grace to influence. I believe the best of people and I am convinced that the capacity for good in man is limitless, if we are totally yielded to our maker, the almighty God.
I have always had a keen interest in how people interact and relate. The relationships that worked really well around me; be they marriages, friendships or work relationships, have always fascinated me. No wonder then, that today, everything that fulfils me has at its heart, a flourishing relationship.
Selwyn Hughes, the late Welsh Christian minister best known for writing the daily devotional Every Day with Jesus, wrote a lot about relationships and marriage. In one of his articles, he highlighted the importance of relationships to our very existence as humans. His idea was that relationships are at the heart of God’s purposes for our lives; we are born into them, we live life through them, we gain our validation and fulfilment through them, we are judged by them in the end and we eventually live in perfect relationship with God our father in eternity. I couldn’t agree more. Mr Hughes literally captured what makes me tick.
